Washington Launches First-Ever Statewide Anti-Human Trafficking Campaign
In observance of Human Trafficking Awareness Month, 26 cities, counties, transit authorities, airports, and seaports across Washington and beyond are combining forces to prevent human trafficking with the Not Alone campaign, our first-ever multi-agency statewide initiative to encourage victims of human trafficking to seek help. This press conference on January 6, 2021 to introduced Not Alone included lived experience experts, Rebekah Covington and Jeri Moomaw, Senator Karen Keiser, Representative Tina Orwall, Port of Seattle Commissioner Sam Cho, King County Councilmembers Jeanne Kohl-Welles and Reagan Dunn, Spokane Mayor Nadine Woodward and City of Seatac Deputy Mayor Peter Kwon.
